'Supporting environmental organizations in achieving their goals'
Tim Davis is a former Membership Officer for both the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO)
and the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT), and worked as Executive Assistant to the Director General of WWF International, based in Switzerland, from 1997 to 2001. Drawing also on a journalistic background, Tim brings extensive hands-on knowledge of publications management and leads all our related services, from editing and proofreading, through to typesetting and print handling. Away from work, Tim enjoys nature, especially birdwatching, and is an avid sports enthusiast, playing tennis (well) and golf (poorly).
Tim Jones has a technical background in the conservation of wetland ecosystems and waterbirds, having worked for Wetlands International and as European Regional Coordinator for the Secretariat of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands. He has a worldwide network of contacts in both governmental and non-governmental sectors and has built up a strong reputation for leading insightful project and programme evaluations and providing exceptional report-writing services for major environmental conferences. Tim speaks French and some Spanish. In his spare time he is a passionate naturalist and horticulturist.
We are 100% committed to nature conservation and sustainable use of natural resources and are proud to support local, national and international organizations. DJEnvironmental has sponsored the analysis of data for Wood Warbler Phylloscopus sibilatrix (below), one of the UK’s most rapidly declining trans-Saharan migrants, for Bird Atlas 2007–2011.
